Handcraft room

The handcraft room consists of two rooms, one for making ceramics and one for all other art activities. The room serves mainly children who come twice a week for "Trojčení", which is very popular.

"Trojčení"

• is the main name for the various handwork activities for scouts as well as for other children.
• is organized by members of scout group VAVÉHA and other volunteers.
• is supported by the city of České Budějovice, the South Bohemian region and the Ministry of education, youth and sports.
• is devided into activities according to the age of the participants:

"Trojčení" Classic for children aged 6-11.
Pottery for children aged 6-11.

Pottery for everybody aged 12+.
We organize special activities approximately once a month. We try some attractive tendences in art and craft, as tie-dying, making earrings and other jewellery from wire, painting glass, painting silk , painting Easter eggs, enamelling, etc.

When the handcraft room is not being used, it is open for other groups (scout members, volunteers and other young people) by permission of the head.
